There's nothing I enjoy more than being involved in a shoot in the area that I live. I was commissioned to shoot for Far North Rentals who offer car hire in the Far North and they had recently purchased some E-bikes and needed imagery for their new website. This is right up my alley, I got to spend the whole day with a couple of very cool backpackers exploring some of the fantastic locations that the Bay of Islands has to offer.
We began at Haruru Falls....

E-bikes are simple and safe to ride, either ride like a regular bike or set the E-assist level from eco to turbo depending on the amount of effort you want to put in, or if you need a little help up those hills. German designed the bikes are powered by a powerful 300 watt motor giving speeds in excess of 30 kilometres per hour and a battery that will last for up to 95 km...more than enough power to explore the Bay of Islands for a day.
