I've been so busy with lots of different projects recently but I really enjoyed shooting this one so thought I would start here. Now I don't know how many of you are familiar with the 'Waitangi Treaty Grounds', located in the Bay of Islands and New Zealand's most important historic site, but it's a very special place steeped in history and stories of the events which have shaped the nation.
Waitangi is a place for all New Zealanders, a place of accord amongst all peoples and as a wedding venue it offers so much.... Gardens of national significance, sweeping vistas of the Bay of Islands, magnificent lawns and of course the all important and cherished historical buildings...'The Treaty House', 'Te Whare Runanga', a fully carved Maori meeting house and 'Ngatokimatawhaorua' the world's largest Maori ceremonial canoe (it's in the Guinness book of records)
To help market this magnificent location to all the lovely brides and grooms out there, I was asked to do a shoot to help showcase all that the Waitangi Treaty Grounds has to offer. Two lovely couples helped to make this possible....
So for those of you looking for that 'special' wedding venue then really this could be the place for you.
